Spring Animal Card | Clean Spring Card with Bold Layers
Posted by DESIGN TEAM

Hello crafty friends it's Rick back with you again this week to share a new card and video using new products from C. C. Designs. Today we are using the brand new Spring Animals Stamp Set as our focal image and for the sentiments as well. Today's card is a clean and layered Spring card design using a few bold layers.

One thing to remember when using pattern paper is it's a great place to pick the colors of alcohol makers you want to use so that your focal image matches. Like I did with the duck from the Spring Animals Stamp Set. It's also easier to pick your color inspiration piece of pattern paper before coloring. This way you are sure that your colored image will match instead of having to hunt paper that matches your coloring after you color first.

When using layers it's also to important to pick one bold pattern, a less bold pattern with a medium size pattern, and then a more subtle tone on tone pattern with a smaller print. By doing this your two less bold patterns are not going to take away from the color inspiration but compliment and support the design.

In the video tutorial I walk you through the coloring process and building up this colorful Spring Wishes card using the Spring Animals Stamp Set.
Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you find a little inspiration from today's card featuring the Spring Animals Stamp Set. It's perfect for cute and whimsical spring and easter card designs.
Happy Crafting
Rick
