Super Easy Be Mine Valentine's Day Card

Hello crafty friends it's Rick back with you again with another card making idea to help you get your creative juices following.  Today we are going to make a super easy Be Mine Valentine's Day Card using the Henry & Twila Valentine Stamp Set that came out last January.  So if you have already picked up this set I have another idea for you to use your supplies.

My card today features both of the cute little kids in the stamp set.  I stamped Twila onto a piece of 2.75" x 2.75" piece of smooth white cardstock with alcohol marker friendly ink.  I colored her using my OLO makers to match the pattern paper you see behind her.  Pro Tip: Find your color palette by picking it from pattern paper from your stash.  I did simple coloring for most of the card only using two markers.  I did use a few more colors on her hair just to get the look that I wanted.
Once all your coloring is complete add the inspiration pattern paper to the focal panel before adding it to the card front to make lining up the focal panel easier.  I added a simple tone on tone pattern paper to a top folding pink card base.  I stamped Henry and the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment on the inside of the card using a light pink ink.  I stamped both three times to have the image and the sentiment show up even better.
To finish the card off I added a few clay hearts from my stash around the card front.  I stamped the Be Mine sentiment onto a scrap of pattern paper that was left over.  I then added a few white gel pen highlights to the stamped and colored images.  You can see the entire process of how I created the card from the video.
Thanks for dropping by I hope you are inspired by the tips and tricks on how I created this super easy Valentine's Day card using the Henry & Twila Valentine Stamp Set.
