SHOW SIDEBAR
It's Rick back with you again today to share three cards using the Tiny Winters Stamp Set. In the coordinating video I also talk about why these three card layouts work every time no matter what stamp set you use for you projects.
Card 1 Frosty Kisses:
For my first card I used stamped out the little snow girl and colored her with my copic markers. I then used a strip layout design to draw interest to the focal image with is my little snow girl from the Tiny Winters Stamp Set. The adorable snow girl image is framed with stitched rectangle dies, helping it stand out while keeping the design cohesive. The diagonal patterned paper strips add movement and energy, guiding the eye toward the focal point without overwhelming the design.
Card 2 You're Cuter Than a Penguin:
For my second card I used the Penguin image from the stamp set and stamped him in a grid format using a light colored ink. The soft monochromatic stamped background adds interest without overpowering the focal image, giving the card a cohesive, professional look. To draw the eye to the focal image I added it to a round die-cut which helps highlight the main character, ensuring it stands out while harmonizing with the rest of the design.
Card 3 Friends Warm the Heart:
For the last card design I used a traditional color block format but changed it up by replacing the blocks with framed die cuts instead and for the colored background panels I used a piece of snowflake pattern paper from my stash. The white deckle edge frames add texture and depth while guiding the eye across the card, making the background dynamic without overpowering the focal point. The rustic woodgrain frame draws attention to the adorable bear and snowman while adding contrast and structure to the design.
Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you find this post and video tutorial helpful. I will see you again soon. And as always I hope that you do something crafty.
