Ahoy, mate! đ Maritime card 20âs style with C.C.Designs

Ahoy, dear fans of C.C.Designs,
here is Melina! In Germany we have really hot summer now and I can think only about beach, sea and waves! This thoughts inspired me to create my todayâs card which I would like to present you.
My newest card has a maritime style featuring a sweet girl from the set Beach 20âs. I love all the sweet charakters in this stamp set but I decided to put only her on this card idea. I think it was enough for the look I needed. And here it is:
I stamped the girly on polychromos paper with memento ink for noline coloring. Than I colored her using Polychromos pencils. I used a few Die Cuts and some pattern paper. The waves I created by using differenz acryl paints in blue and white. I used a sponge to create different depths in the colors. And for sand effect I used a mixed media paste âpumice stoneâ for this interesting structure which I colored by using distress oxide ink in walnut stain color. The Alphaâs I die cut from red cardstock paper and made the white pattern by using my Gelly Roll, so they represent the Mate Look.Â
Here a closer look on the sweetie and over the structure of the card:
I hope I could inspire you by mine Maritime-Card today with this cutie.
