SHOW SIDEBAR
March Preview Day 1: April & May Stamp Set and Bow Die

Welcome to the March Preview Days. We have 3 days of previews to show you before the release on March 7th at noon cst.

There is a grand prize giveaway right here on the blog, you just need to comment on each day and each Design Team members blog. And then we have gift certificate giveaways each day in the Facebook Group.

This month we have a new die called Bow Die. With this die you can make 2 different size bows. The big bow is 2" and the small bow is 1.5" assembled.

The card below is using the small bow die.

Card #1 features 3 of the character images from the April & May set. I made the card so that the top image is the April showers and the bottom image is the May flowers. I used the Quad Collage Die and cut out the frame using Hearts & Dots Paper Pad. I used the flag die from Trio Collage Die and cut it out in white make the red bow really stand out.

I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on a strip of white paper. I then die cut a piece of white paper using the Quad Collage Die and stamped the flowers, bee, and butterfly on the paper. I colored them with Copics and added white dots with Signa UniBall White Marker. I die cut out the 3 characters, the flower, and the cloud with the April & May Outline Die.

In the set is 2 rain drops, I stamped them coming down from the clouds and then used Stickles Glitter Glue to make them sparkle.

Card #2 is the little bunny with a bunch of flowers. I paired her with the Happy Mom's Day sentiment from the set. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto white cardstock cut with Banners Die

The base of the card is the In & Out Square Die.  I took the inner piece and did green grass and blue sky and then stamped a few flowers from the stamp set. I die cut the bunny using the April & May Outline Die. I cut the bow using Hearts and Dot Paper Pad

Card #3 I did a lot of layering and kept with just 2 colors. The heart pattern paper is from the Hearts and Dots Paper Pad. I used the green and blue ink again to create a grass and sky scene. I then stamped the flowers from the set for the kitty to water them. I stamped the sentiment right on the cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut out the kitty with the April & May Outline Die. I finished off the card with enamel dots from Dazzle Dazzle Shiny Enamel Dots.

Card #4 was my go to clean and simple layout. I started with a dark purple cardstock base. Then I layers purple dot paper from the Hearts and Dots Paper Pad. And then a layer of white cardstock, which I flicked pink and purple watered down distress ink all over. I then cut out a banner from the Banners Die and embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I cut out the duck with the April & May Outline Die and pop dotted her on the card. I finished the card with enamel dots from the Dazzle Dazzle Shiny Enamel Dots and Dragon Dreams Enamel Dots
