It's day 2 of our previews. The new release will be available March 7th at noon cst.
We have a new background stamp this month, Paw Print Background. This rubber stamp that is attached to foam, coordinates perfectly with our Barky Set but also our Puppy Power and Cutie Cats Clear Sets. You can see it used on the card below.
Card #1 is a sweet little pup asleep in her bed. I actually saw this sentiment on a bumper sticker and just thought it was the cutest, so I had to add it to this set.
I used the biggest die in the In & Out Rectangle Die, I took the whole piece and stamps paw prints from the set onto the paper. I then took the inner piece and used the teal ink to add shading around the edges.
The red bow was made with the smaller bow in the Bows Die, and I used the same color red paper to layer on the sentiment. The sentiment is one stamp, that I stamped, and then cut out to make the three individual words.
I stamped the dog bed right on the white cardstock and colored it in with Copics. The puppy was colored and then cut out with the Barky Outline Die.
Card #2 has one of the new puppies from the Barky Set. I really love how this card turned out, it didn't take to long to make. I used Teal Cardstock for the base and then cut a piece of white cardstock that was 1/4" smaller. I then used a stencil and Memento Dew Drop ink. I used red, green, and blue inks and blended them together across the card.
I used the biggest bow from Bows Die. I cut out the banner for the sentiment using Banner Die and then embossed with white embossing powder. This is one of my favorite looks. Having the darker cardstock with the white sentiment.
I finished the card with enamel dots from Dazzle Dazzle Shiny Enamel Dots.
Card #3 is for a pretty princess. I took the lighter pink cardstock and flicked it with pink and purple Memento Ink. The puppy, crown, and bed were all colored and then cut out with the outline die. I finished the card off with Razzle Dazzle Shiny Enamel Dots.
